The role of the Media Sales Director is to sell our post transaction ad tech and advertising space across our network to clients. Some clients will be interested in both the supply and the demand side of our platform.
You will lead conversations bringing together the client that wants to advertise with the company that owns the advertising space. Internally, you will partner with sales operations to manage client relationships to drive successful outcomes.

What you’ll bring to AdsPostX:
5+ years experience selling advertising and/or ad technology
Proven track record of exceeding quotas
Robust Retail Media rolodex (known brands across retail/e-commerce)
A can-do attitude and ability to thrive in fast paced, unstructured environments
Strong negotiation and influencing skills
Project management and time management ability
Attention to detail and strong follow through
Resilience, self-motivation and an ability to collaborate effectively
What you will do:
Source new leads with proactive outreach – via phone, email, in person and/or on social media channels
Build strong relationships with existing clients by ensuring they are aware of all the AdsPostX solutions and work cross functionally to support client success
Stay informed about different forms of communication (eg some companies look for candidates who are knowledgeable about retail media or search engine marketing)
Meet/exceed sales quotas
Act as a strong brand steward
While some employers might prefer candidates with a degree, as a rule the right skills and experience is prioritised. However, if a degree is needed, those related to business and marketing are likely to be looked upon most favourably.
Work experience that has enabled you to build up your sales skills will typically either be preferred or expected. This could be any position requiring you to use customer service and communication skills – part-time roles in retail or telesales could provide strong evidence of your potential as a media sales executive, for example.
